First and foremost, I would love to introduce you to my little, but blessed family!  

My husband, myself, and our one and only, our 6.5 year old wonder boy!

Let's not leave out the 3 other  important members of the clan:
Hazelnut Rose, Twix, and Peppermint. I am a FIRM believer that pets are not just pets, but just have furry bodies and warm hearts and are important members of the family. I'm sure you will be hearing lots about them!

Introductions aside, let me give you a quick (if that's even possible) look into our life and why I decided to do this blog in the first place!  

So it seems like EVERY day, I am doing some kind of DIY thing. I LOVE saving money, and most of all, repurposing things I just do not see the point of throwing something away when it can be made into something new, and ultimately save $$$$. Mind you I am NOT a hoarder. I just use what I have in an awesome way!

My father put it best when he preached with the one phrase I will never forget. "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or DO WITHOUT"  I put it into practice just about every day of my life. 

So, we are currently in the Coast Guard, waiting on my husband to be medically discharged. We know it's coming, just waiting on answers. That's material for a whole other post.  Being in the military, and having only one of us working, we are kind of forced to live in a frugal way. Not to mention that we are both believers and I truly know that God wants us to handle our money in frugal way. So that makes it fun to honor Him in that way. Being artistic and finding ways to decorate and save money really is a gift that I'm very thankful that I have and I would love to share it with you!  Get inspired :) 

All that being said, THAT'S why I decided to do this blog!  So that you get to follow along with our journey from this point forward and learn some super fun money saving tips, and crafts in the process!  I'm a VERY unique individual, so sit back, roll your eyes, laugh, learn, and be intrigued if you will, because I will try to make you happy with this blog!  Thank you for joining me on this fun adventure!
