This has to be my ALL TIME FAVORITE home decor item that I own and gets the #1 position on this new blog!
Now mind you, finding an old window, or even a door can take time. But craigs list and swip swap pages are amazing things. Stay dilligent, someone is bound to be selling one sooner or later. I found this one for only $10.
All I did was printed 8x10 black and white photos with a special deal from walgreens. Walgreens frequently runs sales on photos or gives you a print for free.
I taped them all onto black card stock bought at Michaels ( don't forget to use the michael's website to pull up a coupon EVERY time you go, there is always one!).
Taped them onto the backside of the window. I then found this amazing garland light strand that's battery operated in the $ section at Target. This is a BIG window and can be an awesome huge decoration on a large wall and is the perfect shabby chic touch.
You don't have to do a picture in each space. Get creative! Fabric swatches, kids drawings, anything you like would look great! Total cost : under $20 start to finish and I get the MOST compliments on it when people come into my home, so I think it's priceless!
