SLIME!!!!

We found the BEST recipe that is chemical free, and I love the puffyness of the slime!  It wasn't too expensive to make and my 6 year old is in LOVE with this stuff.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup washable school glue
  • food coloring
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup shaving cream
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution

SUPER easy!
Here is what you need:  (extras are posted in this picture, I just wanted to make sure I had enough

Step #1 : mix together school glue and several drops of any food coloring (we used the gel) in a large bowl

Step #2 : add baking soda and shaving cream and mix all together

Step #3: add contact solution and mix up with a spoon. Slime will begin to form. This is where you GET MESSY!  Have your kids get their hands in there.

PLEASE NOTE: SLime will be VVVVEREEEEERRRRRYYYYY  sticky at this point. It's ok!  just keep working and mixing with your hands, back and forth, back and forth, and it will eventually all start getting off of your fingers and formed into a gloopy, soft, awesome ball of slime!

Step #4: have FUN and store in baggies when done!  WE LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
