WALMART SAVINGS CATCHER! 

I had a special request to blog about this!  LOVE Walmart savings catcher. To date, it has saved me about $400. For real. Like ACTUAL money that I use. It's fabulous to just hand the cashier my gift card and have a huge chunk of money taken out of my total.  I used $100 last year right at Christmas time. It's like being PAID to shop. It's SIMPLE to use and sign up, there is no reason not to sign up!

HOW IT WORKS: What it is basically is that Walmart does ad matching. That means if there are other stores advertising a sale on brand name items, you automatically get the price difference if you buy it at walmart.  A lot of time, it catches sales for me I had no idea about.  

EXAMPLE: Say honey nut cheerios are on sale at ACME. You DON'T have to haul yourself to ACME to get that sale. By having the walmart app, you simply need to buy the cereal at Walmart and scan your receipt. It processes , and within a few days, you will get a notification that you got the difference back!  A few cents saved on each item you buy at walmart saves up to a LOT. It will tell you "You got back .75 cents".  On a typical shopping trip of about $100, I usually get back about $2.00, depending on what I bought. It does add up quickly!  PLEASE NOTE: it will not catch sales on non brand name items such as meat and produce sales and store brands.  You still do need to do your research a little bit, but Walmart in general has the lowest prices around on most brand names. 

You get the money saved in your Walmart app, and it keeps adding to your total. You can even open up your receipts and see a physical picture of everything that you bought that trip. You will need a smart phone that can scan. It just scans with your camera.  

 So in summary, you don't actually need to shop sales and spend HOURS going through sales flyers. Just shop everything and anything that you can at walmart and it will quite literally "catch" the savings for you. Anything that is an advertised lower price at another major store, will give you the difference back if you buy it at Walmart. You can cash out at any time through the app and it can digitally email you a gift card to use at the register, OR they can send you a gift card in the mail. 

I know a lot of people don't like shopping at walmart because of the walmart people crowd that go there. And ours is full of tourists and very packed. But it is WORTH the money saving. Wouldn't YOU like to have extra spending money?
